Two people sustain serious burns after gas bottle explodes at Gold Coast cafe

 Two people have sustained significant burns to their face and body after a gas explosion at a cafe on the Gold Coast.

Police said the incident happened just after midday at a coffee shop on Energy Circuit at Robina.

Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) said one man, 26, was being treated for serious burns to his airways, face and body.
