Man dies in forklift accident on Gold Coast
A man has died in an accident involving a forklift on the Gold Coast.
Police say they were called to an address on Fremantle Street in Burleigh Heads at 7.06pm where the 78-year-old was declared dead.
The death is not being considered suspicious.
Police this morning said they were treating the incident as a workplace accident however Workplace Health and Safety has since confirmed the address where the man died was not a registered business.
