Broncos handed huge Kotoni Staggs boost as Titans pull offer
The Broncos have been handed a huge boost in their attempt to regain young talent Kotoni Staggs, with rivals Gold Coast Titans reportedly pulling their offer to the boom centre.
Courier Mail journalist Peter Badel tweeted: “Titans have pulled their offer to Kotoni Staggs. Broncos close in on $2.8 million upgrade for Staggs to stay at Red Hill. Gold Coast officially OUT.”
The 22-year-old currently has a contract option in his favour for next season, but is now closing in on a new deal that will see him earn $2.8m over Brisbane’s next four campaigns ($700k per year).
